The Semico Summit is an annual executive conference held in
March in Phoenix, Arizona. Widely revered as the

since 1997. There are ample opportunities for interaction
with top-level leaders in a casual setting. Traditionally,
the event kicks off Sunday with a golf tournament
& welcome reception. A well-attended president’s
dinner follows Monday's sessions where the industry's best and brightest gather through Tuesday
afternoon. Hot button issues are pressed with featured presentations
delivered by internationally recognized leaders and followed by lively Q&A

Support from
industry leaders...
"The Semico Summit is a great event for semiconductor management
people. It provides with us the most updated informations on the
chip industry in the grobal basis. What is hot in the marketand
technology, and where is it headed to go? Where is the challenge
and where is the opportunity? It is really great to be able to
exchange informations and ideas on those issues with global
leaders in the industry. Every time I attend the Semico Summit,
I enjoy to refresh my friendship with my longtime friends in the
same field."
Tsugio Makimoto, Ph.D, President of TechnoVision
"I always
enjoy your events. The comment from Wally was very
appropriate, Scottsdale has always been a great place to
congregate, certainly for us old Motorolans. My house in the
60’s was right next to Camelback Inn. You are filling a
void. I would always go to the Rosen events, and later to
Instat, Jack B. used to be in my Silicon Transistor group at
Moto. The makeup of your invitees is good. You pull from a
wide variety of suppliers and customers. The panel approach
works well, you get good panel/audience interaction. Perhaps
random questions from the audience could be augmented by
more questions from Semico, to make sure the important
issues of the day get addressed. Overall an excellent
meeting..."
Wilfred Corrigan, Chairman of LSI Logic
“The
Semico Summit gives growth companies like Sonics the opportunity
to connect valued innovations with key industry dynamics and the
ability to discuss them with market leaders. From this
perspective, the Summit provides a great service for an ever
changing semiconductor landscape that relies on constant
innovation for it’s growth.”
Grant Pierce, CEO & President of Sonics Inc.
"I have enjoyed the excellent opportunities to network and
exchange ideas with leaders of semiconductor industry at this
event. Not only have the topics of keynote speakers
provided us all a detailed understanding of product innovation
and market trends, but also the panel discussions have provided
everyone different views of key issues that concern our
industry. The relaxing environment at the resort where the
Summit took place has made this event a wonderful and memorable
experience."
Sam T. Wang, President, SMIC Americas
"Throughout all
the industry’s ups and downs, the good part of the semiconductor
business is that the people have been able to get together &
communicate, to laugh about our experiences. In the early
days, we went to Ben Rosen’s conference, the Rosen Forum. As the
industry matured, Jack Beedle got us to the InStat Forum. I
just want to thank Semico & Jim Feldhan for coming in and
filling the void to once again become the place for us to come
together, to share our stories and exchange ideas."
Walden Rhines, CEO of
Mentor Graphics
"It was again my
pleasure to be on the panel. Semico is a first class operation
and I enjoy the relationship. My appreciation and regards to
everyone there."
Rick Cassidy, President of TSMC N.A.
“I try and make a place in my diary each year for the Semico
Summit as it is an excellent venue for meeting with a wide range
of other senior executives in the Semiconductor, EDA and IP
industries. Having now attended Semico Summit's over a number of
years, I find that I always return with some new idea or
perspective on issues that I am dealing with. Thank you Semico
for providing a pleasant and stimulating forum for us to
exchange ideas.”
Mark-Eric Jones, President & CEO of Innovative Silicon Inc.
“Actionable
discussions with senior decision makers. Deeply informed
viewpoints on what is happening in our semiconductor industry,
and what will happen. The combination of these at the Semico
Summit, in distilled form, makes this a very high value event.
Connections of strategic value happen naturally here. My
compliments to Semico for creating this forum for quality dialog
in an atmosphere of collegiality.”
Phil Nyborg, President & CEO of Ziptronix |
